In 2021, I relocated from South Africa to Australia, where I now manage Kohl Makeup Academy remotely while returning to my roots as a working artist. My journey in Australia has taken me to the Gold Coast, Queensland, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on and design for a variety of exciting projects.
Some of the Australian clients and projects I’ve collaborated with include: Virgin Atlantic, Foxtel, SBS, AACTA Awards, Stellar Magazine, Top Golf, Young Rock 2, Nautilus, Rock Island Mysteries, Boy Swallows Universe, The Bachelors, Opera Queensland, Godzilla x Kong, Apple Never Falls, and Mortal Kombat 2. As a makeup and hair designer for Australian film productions, my credits include One Perfect Match, Designing Christmas, Time Capsule Christmas, A Royal Proposal, and A Vintage Christmas.
In South Africa, my career highlights include projects such as Fashion Week, NWTS (Celebrity Runway Show), African Fashion Council, Married at First Sight, Miss South Africa, and the South African Music Awards.
Awards and recognitions include: International Beauty Industry Awards (IBI) Winner for Best Avant-Garde (2019, 2022), Best Full Face (2020-2021, 2023), and ABIA 2022 Finalist for High Fashion/Editorial Makeup Artist of the Year.
I have also provided product and skills training, as well as writing and compiling training materials, for brands like YSL and Urban Decay under the L’Oréal South Africa umbrella. My qualifications include multiple international certifications in makeup artistry, makeup assessment, and internal quality assurance in makeup education.
